Our client sells liquid vitamin and herbal extract products on Amazon through the Seller Central platform. Following their launch in March 2015, they managed their own account and sales, with average monthly sales reaching a maximum of $8K in a month, sales didn’t increase since launching. In July 2020 they partnered with Bellavix to help grow their business.

The Problem

Optimize Listings

The client had been achieving the same average sales for years despite their attempts to increase traffic and conversions on their own. These products have many competitors on Amazon and a successful seller must stand out from the crowd. Since sales had been very low, the client did not have an adequate budget to grow through advertising, so our strategy had to focus on optimizing the content of the listings and organizing the catalog to get the highest amount of organic traffic possible.

The Solution

Product-focused content

We began by optimizing the content for the best sellers, as these products generated 60% of sales. The optimization included transforming the content with the best high-converting keywords, replacing all images with high-quality photos, and including lifestyle photos and informative images. As the product focused on health, the consumer needed as much information as possible about the usage, manufacturing process and ingredients, so we optimized the A+ pages and included insights extracted from the comments to give the customer a better understanding of the products’ wide range of uses. We also included a short story about the brand to build trust and brand awareness.

The Results

150% increase in Sales

  • Sales increased 150% in one year - in September 2020 (just one month after partnering with Bellavix), sales increased 34%
  • A 63.84% increase in units purchased was seen in just one year
  • Views went from 56,263 to 71,572, and the final conversion rate was 19.2%

In the next graph, you will see that although the sessions did not show a large increase, the total orders increased significantly due to the optimization of the listings and the information that the customer was given on the product page at the time of purchase. Educating consumers and providing them with more visual information allowed them to quickly understand and appreciate the product, boosting the conversion rate.
