Enhancing Product Detail Pages
After carefully examining the catalog, we identified a few detail pages that were not up to par. Although the written content was well-optimized, the images fell short in terms of providing educational value and evoking emotions. As a result, the conversion rate was also quite low. We provided recommendations and shared some best practices to rectify this situation.
In this case study, we will analyze the performance of two ASINs after we updated the images.
Page Views
ASIN 1:
After updating the images, we witnessed a significant surge in page views, with a remarkable 215% increase within a single month. Furthermore, by the fourth month following the image update, the page views experienced an impressive boost of 467%.
ASIN 2:
Similarly to ASIN 1, we observed a rise of 216% in page views after the first month following the image update. By the fourth month, there was a 314% increase in page views compared to the period before the image update.
Sales
ASIN 1
After the initial update to the image, sales experienced a significant boost of 79.74% within the first month. Sales continued to rise steadily, and by the fourth month, we witnessed an impressive surge of 450.55% in sales.
ASIN 2
After the image update, there was a remarkable 163.91% increase in sales during the first month. Just like ASIN 1, sales continued to rise steadily, and by the fourth month, there was a significant surge of 288.17% in sales.
Conversion Rate
ASIN 1
Within the initial month following the image alteration, the conversion rate reached 12.92%. By the fourth month subsequent to the image modification, the conversion rate rose to 29.19%.
ASIN 2
The conversion rate experienced a 10.20% increase after the initial month following the update of the image. By the fourth month, the conversion rate had risen by 14.68%.
Although there are many variables that can affect sales, it is undeniable that high-quality images have a significant impact on sales and conversion rates. Despite the protein category being highly competitive, we have achieved remarkable success and growth by implementing a well-planned strategy.
