Add Budgets to Your Percentage off and Buy One Get One Promotion

  • Use the new budget feature in the Promotions tool for better spending control over your Percentage Off and Buy One Get One promotion. When you create a new promotion, you’ll now need to set a budget with either a total amount or order count before the promotion can start. Promotions with budgets will continue to run in their current form. When promotions reach 80% of their set budget value, they will be removed. The remaining 20% will be allocated to cover redemptions from customers who have already applied the promotion.

Buy With Prime, Which Brings Prime to Third-Party Sites, Officially Launches in US on Jan. 31

  • Amazon announced this morning it’s expanding its Buy with Prime service to U.S.-based merchants by the end of the month. The service, which allows third-party merchants to offer Prime benefits like free shipping and returns on their own apps, was initially only available to those merchants who were already using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to handle their shipping and logistics.

Send to Amazon China to FBA Service

  • Amazon is making it easier to get inventory shipped direct from China into FBA with their SEND TO AMAZON program. This will appeal to Chinese sellers, but can also be used by UK and EU sellers who wish to streamline shipments from their manufacturer.  SEND TO AMAZON is an Amazon Partnered Carrier program that allows you to send your Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inventory from China to Amazon fulfillment centers in the UK. More Details Here

Amazon Return-Shipping Fee Policy Now in Effect

  • Amazon sellers will be responsible for paying for overage costs on returns beginning Saturday, January 14th. According to the new policy, if a shipping carrier assesses a correction charge on a customer return, sellers must now pay it. The policy applies to seller-fulfilled orders, not FBA.

Amazon’s Buy with Prime Increases Shopper Conversion by 25% on Average

  • With shoppers purchasing directly from merchants’ online stores, Buy with Prime allows merchants to build customer relationships and brand loyalty while offering conversion-driving benefits by leveraging Amazon FBA to fulfill your website orders. According to Amazon, on average merchants are seeing an increase of 25%.
