Subscribe & Save for Seller-Fulfilled Orders Launching June 27
- Starting June 27, 2024, the Subscribe & Save program will expand to include eligible seller-fulfilled products. This program offers customers discounts on frequently used products with the convenience of auto-delivery, helping you boost conversions, drive repeat purchases, and grow your brand. All eligible, replenishable products will be automatically enrolled at the default discount set in your Subscribe & Save settings. If you have a default discount for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Subscribe & Save, it will apply to your seller-fulfilled products as well. An additional 5% discount will be funded for customers who have five or more subscriptions scheduled to arrive on the same delivery day. If no discount is set, eligible products will be added at a 0% base discount. You might experience an increase in pending orders as deliveries align with the subscriber’s schedule. To set your default enrollment discount, go to Growth, select Explore programs, click Increase conversion, and then Learn More under Subscribe & Save. From there, you can opt out of automatic enrollment, update your discount funding, and review your performance. For more information, visit Subscribe & Save for sellers.
Exposing the Amazon Refund Loophole
- Amazon has an automatic reimbursement system for failed customer returns (when a customer gets a refund but doesn’t return the product). This system is supposed to process reimbursements after 60 days, but due to a system error, it actually does so after 64 days. Some refund providers exploit this 4-day “loophole” by filing claims between days 60-64, charging sellers a fee for reimbursements that Amazon would have processed automatically within a few days. This practice wastes Amazon’s support resources and costs sellers unnecessary fees.
- To protect yourself, contact your refund provider and request they either:
- Not handle failed return cases at all, or
- Wait 90 days to file claims for these cases.
- After 90 days, check if they respected your request by following these steps:
- In Seller Central, go to Reports > Fulfillment > Reimbursements.
- Look for reimbursements related to customer returns with a case ID.
- Note the Amazon Order ID for these reimbursements.
- Go to Payments > Transaction View, enter the Order ID, and find the date when the customer received their refund.
- Go to Case Log and find the case ID noted earlier.
- Check the date when the case was opened by your provider.
- If the case was opened less than 90 days after the customer refund date, compile these instances in a spreadsheet.
- Calculate the total fees charged for these premature claims.
- Contact your refund provider with this evidence and request a refund for the unnecessary fees charged.

Amazon Fraud Alert for Sellers
- A massive fraud ring has been uncovered on a brand registered listing, with over $60,000 lost in test buys. Fraudulent sellers are listing thousands of units of a product, using fake tracking numbers, and sharing tracking numbers among multiple orders. All sellers are linked to the same UPS store address.
- Takeaways for Amazon Sellers:
- Monitor your listings for suspicious activity.
- Verify tracking numbers and order details.
- Report fraudulent sellers immediately to Amazon.
- Protect your business and stay vigilant.
