Important Update: New Maximum Durations for Coupons Starting September 5

  • As of September 5, 2024, the maximum durations for Amazon coupons will change: Standard coupons will now last 30 days, Reorder coupons 180 days, and Subscribe & Save coupons 365 days. This differentiation is intended to enhance the impact of each coupon type and encourage use within specific timeframes. Coupons issued before this date are not affected and can still run up to 90 days. Sellers should adjust their strategies accordingly to maximize promotional effectiveness.

 

New RFID Seal Policy for Full Truckload and Intermodal Shipments Starting September 12

  • Effective September 12, 2024, Amazon will require all full truckload and intermodal shipments to use ISO-17712-compliant, Amazon-approved RFID seals at the point of pickup. This applies to shipments exceeding 14 pallets, while less-than-truckload and small parcel carriers will apply seals at the consolidation terminal. Ensure the seal number is documented on the Bill of Lading. Sellers can purchase RFID seals through Amazon Business or from an authorized vendor. Adjust your shipping processes accordingly to meet the new requirements.

  • Starting September 4, Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) orders in the US will be delivered faster at no additional cost. Standard delivery is now three business days (previously five), and Expedited delivery is now two business days (previously three). Priority delivery has been discontinued, with all future orders charged at the expedited rate.
