Amazon Launches Luxury Accessories Resale with WGACA Partnership

  • Amazon has expanded its luxury presence by partnering with What Goes Around Comes Around, the trusted reseller of authenticated high-end vintage. Through the partnership, a dedicated WGACA section showcasing vintage luxury accessories and bags is featured on Amazon. The move is an expansion of Amazon’s Luxury Stores experience, which the eCommerce giant introduced in 2020, and reflects the continued momentum of luxury resale.

  • Amazon Ads highlights new ad tech capabilities for more agile planning, measurement, and optimization. Amazon Ads announces new Sponsored Display, physical store advertising, and campaign optimization capabilities
    • Rewarded Sponsored Display: Brands will be able to add an Amazon shopping credit directly into the Sponsored Display creative, and customers receive the reward by clicking on the ad and purchasing the featured product.
    • Sponsored Display for brands not selling on Amazon: Brands that sell products and services in verticals not available on Amazon, like restaurants and hotels, can use Sponsored Display to reach the highly engaged Twitch audience.
    • Sponsored Display video creative: Sponsored Display video creative allowss advertisers to easily create video campaigns. Advertisers can deliver video ads, such as tutorials, demos, unboxing, and testimonials..
    • Digital Signage Ads in Amazon DSP: Digital Signage Ads in Amazon DSP, which will be available in November, make it easier for brands to advertise within Amazon Fresh stores.
    • Sponsored Products campaigns with presets: With Sponsored Products campaigns with presets, Amazon Ads recommends campaign settings, including daily budgets and bidding strategies, that look to remove the ambiguity of starting a new campaign or launching a new product on Amazon.
    • Amazon creative services: Amazon creative services helps advertisers discover, compare, and directly book with trusted service providers for the creation of impactful Sponsored Brands, Streaming TV, and Sponsored Display videos, as well as other creative assets. Brands can search and filter services based on their requirements, browse reviews and samples, and directly connect with providers for end-to-end creative delivery, all within the Amazon ads console. 
    • Streaming TV Ads now includes incremental household reach: The solution ensures accurate, aggregated results by combining first-party and third-party signals, augmented by machine leaning-based-projections. 

Walmart: Important Updates to Pro Seller Badge Criteria (Email)

  • NEW Pro Seller Badge Criteria:
    • Seller-Accountable On-Time Delivery: > 90% in the last 90 days
    • Seller-Accountable Cancellations: < 2% in the last 90 days
    • Listing Quality Score: 70% of a seller’s trending catalog must be > 60%
    • Orders: more than 100 in the last 90 days
    • No Trust & Safety or Performance Standards violations
    • Seller is active for at least 90 days

Walmart: New Repricer Incentives Program on Walmart Marketplace (Email)

  • To help ensure customers can always find competitive prices on Walmart.com, commission breaks on underperforming and eligible Marketplace items will now be available. The Walmart Repricer will automatically adjust the item’s price to match the competing offer. The item’s referral fee percentage is lowered on every sale for a specified timeframe set by Walmart.
