Update to US Multi-Channel Fulfillment Fees Starting February 5, 2024

  • Effective February 5, 2024, US Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) fees and size tiers will undergo updates. There will be an average fee increase of 3.5% across all delivery options, comparatively lower than the 5.9% increase by other carriers. Notably, for items under 1 lb, MCF fees will either remain the same or decrease slightly for standard speeds. Furthermore, adjustments in size tiers include introducing a new 4 oz size and implementing Large Bulky and Extra-Large tiers, which will replace the existing Oversize categories. Additional details on these MCF fee changes are available on the 2024 fulfillment fees page for Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders.

Redefining Retail: The Evolving Impact of Black Friday and Cyber Monday

  • The article suggests two contrasting opinions regarding the evolving nature of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. One perspective is that extending promotions throughout November dilutes the impact and exclusivity of these traditionally high-discount days, potentially leading to consumer fatigue and reduced urgency to purchase. Conversely, another viewpoint is that extended sales periods may benefit consumers and retailers by alleviating the stress of a single-day shopping frenzy and allowing for better management of inventory and supply chain challenges. This approach could lead to a more sustainable and customer-friendly shopping experience.
